What Urologist Do:
A medical doctor who specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of disorders of the urinary tract and the external genital organs, which can include kidney, ureter, urethra, bladder, and prostate issues.
How to Become One:
After completing a four year bachelor's degree, students then take four years of graduate education leading to a degree in medicine (M.D.) or osteopathy (D.O.). After receiving a medical degree, students must complete five more years in a urology residency.
